objective: To give sculptural form and anthropomorphic qualities to previously engineered remnants of technology by reassembling and combining the pieces to construct an event.

desription:

Spin. To reinvent the wheel. Humankind is constantly undergoing processes to find new ways to do the same things. This project displays several generations of technology that all simply perform the same action, to spin, but different functions. They have been combined within a static frame that supports their rotations. This combination creates a new tool that records its own cycles by unrolling paper for a spinning pen to record its own loops.
