[ dmg . . alumni . Orit Shaer ] edit
Orit Shaer
Orit spent a year (2003-04) working with the DMG while a computer science PhD student at Tufts University, working on a Tangible User Interface toolkit and framework in Professor Robert Jacob's HCI group,
http://www.cs.tufts.edu/~jacob/

Orit's work focused on developing a unified conceptual framework for describing
Tangible User Interfaces. Her work suggests a model that enables
describing and simulating TUIs by using a high description language and a VR design and simulation environment. Of course, that means she is also working on developing new interaction techniques for virtual reality environments.
