Drew has been an on and off participant in the DMG for several years. In 2002, as an undergraduate student interested in computing after being introduced to software design and development during internships at Microsoft, he took the Physical Computing class where he worked on displays for the
Home Energy Tutor. From 2004 through 2008 he was deeply involved in HCI and Information School projects. In autumn 2009, in his final year, he returned to the DMG to work on multi-touch, multi-user interactions (
Touchy). In Winter he went off to China to work on other HCI research. We're not sure where he'll show up next!
