Dipti Shah joined the DMG in Winter 2006. She had previously completed her Bachelors in Architecture from India. She is very interested in how information technology might help individual buildings and entire communities better withstand the ravages of natural disaster, such as hurricanes using smart materials, sensors, and distributed intelligence. She is also interested in Computer Graphics and its applications to Architecture.
